We do not specialize in wines from a particular country or region but buy from a range of areas around the globe concentrating on small producers, indigenous or unusual grape varieties and, most importantly, well made wines of good quality. As all our wines are ready to drink now, we choose our cases to match the season and in particular, for our December delivery, provide a very popular “All you need for Christmas” in one case.
In a way we are trying to take members out of their comfort zone and introduce them to wines which they would otherwise not have tried and which are not found in large supermarkets. Unlike normal wine merchants who carry stock of many standard wines all the time, we do not, and our wine list changes according to our current case. We are not catering for the drinker who has a favourite Claret and will drink nothing else. We are aiming at people who want to broaden their knowledge and are willing to experiment.
All our prices include VAT and delivery within our local area (see how it works) and the price of our standard case varies between £120 and £160 apart from the Christmas one which is slightly more expensive.
